The sale of goods under this website is carried out under the brand name of “House of Rugs™” registered to Mrs. Aishwarya Gupta, the sole proprietor with his registered address at 72, Ekling Nagar, New Shikarbadi Road, Goverdhan Vilas, Udaipur, Rajasthan, 313001.

The following Terms and Conditions are a user agreement that bind us (“House of Rugs”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and you (which term shall mean and include “visitor”, “account holder”, “customer”, “buyer”, “trader”). By accessing this website, you implicitly consent to being bound by the terms and conditions prescribed hereinbelow.

We reserve the right to add to or amend the Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion at any time without prior notice. You are urged to review these Terms and Conditions every time before placing any order.

Orders

All the products on our website will be exhibited with their price tag. Packaging and delivery charges will be at actuals, and will be conveyed to you at the time of check-out. To successfully place an order on our website, you must follow the aforesaid purchasing procedure and finally click on “Make Payment”. Only after 100% of the payment is processed, you will receive an email from us confirming said order. This email along with the shipping confirmation that shall follow, shall amount to a binding contract between you and us.

You may seek a rectification in the personal details provided for the order by writing to us at houseofrugsindia@gmail.com . Please note that any change in the shipping address shall only be considered and / or accepted prior to dispatch. Any such last-minute change shall be subject to additional cost.

Returns and Exchange

We pride ourselves in the quality of our products. Please note that returns are allowed only in the off-chance of a manufacturing defect. In such an event, you may write to us at houseofrugsindia@gmail.com requesting returns within 48 hours of delivery. The option to return or exchange products, however, shall not be available in the case of customised orders.

Customisation

For your utmost satisfaction, we also offer customisation services. Please note, however, that we stand the right to refuse any such order if it (a) in any manner violates or impinges upon the intellectual property rights of another entity; and / or (b) contains design or content that is illegal under the law of India, or offensive to the sensibilities of the common man.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of this user agreement, i.e. Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the laws of India. An effort shall be made to resolve all disputes amicably, failing which the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with its seat and venue as Udaipur, Rajasthan.
